Internet and other media stats |
- European consumers are now spending a fifth of their media week using the internet which means they are spending more hours surfing the web than they do reading newspapers and magazines combined, [European Interactive Advertising Association (EIAA), November 2004],
- The Internet now claims 11.3 hours per week per U.K. user, the largest of all the European online ad markets [EIAA, November, 2004]
- 51% of internet users went online every day and spent an average of 74 minutes in each user session as of late 2004. [IAB, Nov 04]
